Helping people walk through their traumatic experiences allowing them to heal their souls and embrace living life once more.

It’s not your fault.
I bet you’ve heard that 1000 times and still don’t believe it.

No matter how many times you hear it, you still feel like it was your fault. You ruminate on things you could’ve done differently; you think about ways that the outcome could’ve been different; you think about things that you did to survive, and maybe you don’t like who you became to survive. Sometimes, you think about those who were left behind or feel like you should have saved others. Perhaps you think to yourself, “Why me? What did I ever do to deserve this.” You’re not alone, even though it feels like it.

Working with many different traumas, I commonly see one thing across each type. People often have difficulty accepting that they are victims of an external force because they don’t have to feel the pain by rejecting that. But the pain is being felt… the drinks keep flowing, throwing yourself to work to keep yourself distracted, moving from relationship to relationship for fear of being alone, not able to hold down a job because you constantly feel overwhelmed. Maybe you cry yourself to sleep at night because you keep thinking to yourself, why me? And the answer to that is, we may never know.

Healing is the focus. You didn’t ask for any of this; it happened to you, but it does not need to become you. It feels like there’s a weight on your chest like you can’t get a full breath. You have tension in your jaw, your shoulders are tense, and your back hurts. You want it all to stop but don’t know how. I’m here to let you know that it can get better, with a little help.

You’re ready to:

  • Confront your past traumas.

  • Explore parts of yourself that adapted to survive—but long to feel safe

  • Understand how early attachment wounds and relational trauma still echo in your present.

  • Examine the deeper roots of your pain.

  • Deconstruct survival responses that keep you feeling disconnected.

  • Gain insight into strength and resilience.

  • Move towards healing that is not about “getting over it.”

  • Reclaim your power.

Healing can happen with Online Therapy.

How it works:

Therapy with people who experience trauma can be quite complex. Trauma is a soul wound, and it changes us completely. Many people, unfortunately, do not get the support that they need when a traumatic experience happens, and this can further traumatize people and cause them to internalize their struggles. The focus of the sessions will be to discuss traumatic situations that have forever changed you. We will be looking at your response to the trauma and work on allowing your nervous system to regulate. Working on trauma is not just for the mind but also for the body.

Trauma changes us, and gaining insight into how this plays out in our everyday interactions is essential. Together, we will feel the pain, re-process this trauma, and heal. For many, traumas have wreaked havoc on their body and minds for many years, and by not healing, we allow our trauma to consume us. Many people have a difficult time admitting that things were traumatic, and many times, we find shame in being labeled a victim. Many of us were children, needing people to protect us, and help never came, and it changed our attachment forever.

We are not victims of our circumstances; we are victorious beings. Sometimes, we need a little help to see that.

Plus, you’ll be doing this work with someone who has been where you have been and has healed.
